September Update

September was another busy month for us at the Food Bank, with lots of requests for help, so far this year we have been able to supply 24,329 meals, which is a huge quantity of food, and an increase of 21% on the same period last year.

We are short of a few items at the moment, and if you are able to help when you are out shopping, that would be greatly appreciated.

Large tins of vegetables, sachets of microwave rice, instant mash, instant custard and sponge puddings.

Thanks again for all your help and support, together we are making a difference.

These are busy days at the food bank, so far this year we have received 962 referrals and supplied 21,725 meals, which has been a huge help to many individuals and families who are experiencing difficult times.

We do want to thank so many people who have donated over the past months, we are constantly amazed and blessed by your generosity, thank you.

At the moment we are in need of small and large tins of carrots, tins of meat (chicken/ham), hot dogs, mug shots and deodorants for male and female.

Update 20 August 2020

We are having a busy month supporting many individuals and families in need of our help.  We are grateful for all the donations being received so thank you once again for your continued support.  School holidays can be a difficult time for many families and we are privileged to be also helping where needed. XR are once again organizing Two Tin Tuesday on 25th August, if you are planning to make a donation into one of the collection boxes perhaps you would consider one of the following items: corned beef, hot dogs, tuna or small tins of spaghetti in sauce.
